Markus Henriksen close to Hull City move
Markus Henriksen will soon complete his transfer from AZ to Hull City, Dutch outlet AD has revealed today.
The 24-year-old Norwegian looked likely to be joining Belgian side Anderlecht, but AD has reported that he is in England completing a move to the newly promoted side.
AZ have been considering offers for the star as he only has one year left on his current contract. There is no mention of how much the Tigers would have to pay for him, however.
Henriksen joined AZ in 2012 for €2 million and has played over 100 games for the side. Playing as an attacking midfielder, he has 54 career goals for both AZ and Norwegian side Rosenborg.
Last season Henriksen played alongside Vincent Janssen, who has recently made a €20 million move to Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the summer.
Hull City haven’t made a signing yet this summer, although with the impending arrival of news owners it seems likely the Tigers will make multiple signings before the transfer window shuts.
