Hull have an important task in the Premier League today against Liverpool, but another prominent thing to remember is the birthday of their caretaker manager, Mike Phelan.
Phelan turns 54 today and continues his current reign as caretaker for the time being, with a contract on the table for him to potentially become a permanent manager of a club for the first time.
A good performance today would be the perfect present from his team of players.
After spells as assistant manager at Norwich City (twice), Blackpool, Stockport County and Manchester United, this period at Hull is the only spell of his career in which he has managed a side in a game.
We thought that it would be good to look back at the memories that Phelan has had so far during his 19 months at the club since joining in February 2015.
Here’s some of the best images celebrating the highlights from his current period at the club.
