Arsenal and Everton showing interest in Tymon
According to a recent report from The Mirror, Premier League duo Arsenal and Everton are set to battle it out in their pursuit of young Hull defender Josh Tymon.
The 17-year-old has developed a big reputation as of late for some excellent performances at such a young age and he now looks set to make his top-flight bow against Watford on Saturday afternoon due to the injury to Andy Robertson.
Scouts from both Arsenal and Everton were in attendance as Hull progressed into the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup against Bristol City, with their main focus being on young Tymon, who played well yet again.
The left-back’s mature and composed displays have earned him plenty of plaudits in recent times and rightly so; big things beckon for the young defender.
It’s certainly going to be a battle to keep hold of Tymon beyond the January transfer window but given the depth of the current Hull squad, they’ve not really got a choice.
