Hull claimed their first point of the month in a thrilling 3-3 draw with Crystal Palace at the KCOM Stadium.
The team will be disappointed to not walk away with all three and get out of the relegation zone after a late equaliser from former striker Fraizer Campbell. This goal may be a fair outcome after Hull were wrongly given a penalty earlier in the game.
The game was destined to be a high-scoring affair with both sides having a terrible record of conceding goals in the 2016-17 season.
Robert Snodgrass opened the scoring from the penalty spot after the referee made an incorrect call before Palace’s Christian Benteke also scored a penalty. Snodgrass fell over close to defender Scott Dann but the English defender did not make contact with either himself or the ball.
Wilfried Zaha put the away side in the lead with the first of four goals in the final 20 minutes. Adama Diomande’s first league goal since the opening day of the season and Jake Livermore’s first in any competition this season reclaimed the lead.
However, Campbell broke the Tigers’ hearts in the 89th minute with the sixth and final goal of the match.
Crystal Palace fall to 15th in the league with 15 points after 15 matches, with Hull remaining in 19th on 12 points, level on points with 17th-placed Swansea.
