Players react to Hull’s 1-1 draw with Burnley
Members of Hull City’s squad again took to social media after a game to react to the side’s 1-1 draw with Burnley at the KCOM Stadium.
Tom Huddlestone scored his first league goal since March 2014 from the spot before Michael Keane atoned for conceding the penalty to bring the scoreline level.
Despite the scoreline, Hull’s goalscorer was pleased that the team at least managed to salvage a potentially crucial point out of the game.
Twitter: Not the best of games today but any point is good at this stage of the season. Still all to play to for (@Huddz8)
David Meyler and Andy Robertson agreed with Huddlestone’s thoughts, with consensus seemingly clear within the squad at this stage.
Twitter: Not the best result today but we will take the point and move on! #hcafc https://t.co/fTyZwd3Im8 (@andrewrobertso5)
Twitter: Not the result we wanted yesterday but it’s another point. Get ready for Leicester next weekend. #hcafc https://t.co/jWIQTvNkUd (@DavidMeyler7)
Hull’s next game is a hugely important fixture as they travel to the King Power Stadium to face managerless Leicester.
At the time of writing, their rivals are on the same number of points (21) and just ahead of the side on goal difference in 18th in the league.
