Just two of Hull City’s players took to social media after the side fell to a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Leicester City.

Despite Sam Clucas putting the team ahead in a great counter-attack, goals from Christian Fuchs, Riyad Mahrez and a Tom Huddlestone own goal condemned the side to another defeat.

All three of these goals could have been prevented on another day, with Eldin Jakupovic potentially at fault for two and a man on the back post could have potentially denied the third from Huddlestone’s head.

Huddlestone, currently covering as the team’s captain, tweeted clearly about the side needing to improve to save themselves from the drop.

Andy Robertson agreed that the Foxes were the bigger side and a crucial final ten games are on the horizon.

Hull’s next game is now more crucial in the storyline of their season, playing Swansea at the KCOM Stadium. If the Swans beat the Tigers, they could go nine points clear with nine games remaining in the 2016/17 season,
